Our team is multi-disciplinary in nature and consist of the below personnel whose combined skills will be important in ensuring comprehensive studies. In some cases we outsource specialists like archaeologists, vegetation specialists etc depending with the nature of the project and requirements from Ministry of Environment Forestry and Tourism.

Ruth Mutyavaviri

Environmental Consultant

She holds a Masters in Environmental Engineering (specialising in water) and a BSc (Hons) Degree in Geography and Environmental Science. Ruth has eight years experience in the safety, health and she’s approaching 100 completed and certified EIAs & EMPs in Namibia only. EIA projects done in Namibia include construction, mining, energy, waste management, sand mining, subdivisions and upgrading of services. Ruth has also experience in project management and she handles the company running projects from planning until the end.

Bernard Mazarire

Surveyor / GIS & Environmental Mapping Specialist

He holds a BSc in Survey and Geomatics. He is the GIS and Mapping expert in the team and he has ten years experience. He is conversant with GIS and Remote Sensing applications (ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, ILWIS Manifold, AutoCAD etc). He has been involved in big projects such as the Jwaneng mine project (Botswana), LAPCAS project in Botswana and SABONA (South Africa, Botswana and Namibia) monument establishment etc.

Success Mapwanyire

Environmental Consultant

He holds a BEd in Environmental Science and is currently completing his Masters in Agroforestry. Success has 25 years of experience in environmental health and environmental assessments. He has conducted a number of inspections, assessments and reviews. He mainly reviews the final project documents.

Professor Benjamin Mapani

Environmental Consultant / Hydrogeologist Specialist

Professor Benjamin Mapani, he holds a PHD in Fluid Flow. He has 35 years’ experience in Mining, Geology and Environmental projects. Benjamin Mapani was one of the team that conducted the large scale Erongo Uranium Province Strategic Environmental Assessment, where his work package focussed on the assessment of Uranium in groundwater and establishing baselines on how much uranium from producing mines was being introduced in the Swakop and Khan Rivers. Benjamin Mapani was part of the team that conducted the Environmental Assessment of Mining Districts in Namibia, where two reports were issued, for the Otavi Mountainland and for Rosh Pinah and Skorpion Zinc in the south. Benjamin Mapani has done work for OKACOM (Okavango Basin River Commission) based in Maun on behalf of the countries of Angola, Botswana and Namibia in establishing the extent and nature of cross boundary aquifers in the river basin. In addition, Benjamin Mapani has done work for Dundee Precious Metals; Environmental Evaluation of Impacts arising from mining in the Tsumeb area and the subsequent impacts on the local population. Evaluated and defined the repair of cracks on Kariba Dam (Zambia and Zimbabwe) Hydro Power generation Station. Benjamin Mapani has also extensively published academic papers in professional peer reviewed journals with over 100 publications.
